Driveways, Yards and Walkways

When we break ground, the first thing that we are gonna do is clear the land to make room for the house, a driveway and clear out a yard. So, I've been thinking about driveways and yards. I found some "I want one of those, but know I can't aforrd one" driveways, yards and walkways on the St. Thomas Multiple Listing Service (MLS). And just in case you don't know much about St. Thomas, a flat or grassy yard is a big deal, you don't find them very often. Take a look at some of my finds:

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back soon.

  1. When I was a kid, I thought a driveway was just a plain, old garage, where dad kept his mechanical tools in a large storage box. My siblings used to play there whenever dad was at work and the car was not parked.

Today, driveway designs have become an integral part of the general appearance of the house. I love seeing green things on the driveway. It looks very breezy and comforting! My wife wanted to redesign our driveway. We had it checked by a highly skilled foundation expert. The inspector advised us that we need to have it realigned and have the foundation repaired. We agreed on the foundation repair cost. I am fascinated on how they repair cracked foundation. It looks easy and tidy. Most especially, I am satisfied with the result. The driveway is well realigned and the newly placed plants on the pavement has created an inviting atmosphere on our driveway.

  2. The world is full of businesses but do you know how important they are? You know there are very big ones like Apple, BP and Amazon and very small ones like your local shop or window-cleaner. Grandad explains how all these businesses contribute to our daily life as importantly as the air we breathe and the food we eat. Without businesses he believes we would still be living in caves or mud huts, we would spend all our time searching for food and water. There would be no schools, no doctors, no police, no government,no cars, no television, nearly nothing, This is one of a series of articles aimed by Grandad at grandchildren everywhere. Grandad has learned many things over his lifetime in business. These articles can give you a flying start in life. Ballarat Pro Concreters
